Writings on the walkway

Hull's sports fans can lay claim - or at least a brick - to Hull's Community Super Stadium. The Walk With Legends Commemorative Walkway scheme gives them the chance to purchase a paving brick, engraved with their chosen inscription in black or gold to be laid in one of three specially dedicated paved areas at the stadium.

Fans will also be able to buy a replica brick as a personal memento. Similar schemes have been run elsewhere in the UK, notably at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, in a bid to give fans a sense of ownership.

Each brick costs £39.99 and can be inscribed with up to two lines of lettering. Proceeds from the scheme will be shared between the Stadium Management Company, the City Council, Hull FC and Hull City.
