Choral music in Hull
Hull Bach Choir are announcing a change from their regular venue of Trinity Methodist Church on Cottingham Road to St Mary's Church, Hallgate, Cottingham. Their next performance, on Saturday March 19 at 6.45pm, is of Bach's moving St Matthew Passion. Tickets are priced from £2 - £8.50. For more information, contact Mrs G Munn, tel: 654567. Underwater snapper
A stunning exhibition of work by acclaimed underwater photographer Linda Pitkin is currently running at The Deep until April. Linda approaches her marine life photography with a biologist's fascination for living organisms and a photographer's eye for composition and lighting. The exhibition is free of charge, open daily 10am - 6pm until April 2005, and is located around the third floor café and Observatory Café of The Deep. Signed, limited edition prints are available to order.

Humber Mouth
Hull's Humber Mouth literature festival is offering special commissions of up to £1000 for performance, events, readings, workshops, text-based artwork or multimedia, music, film, dance and literary projects, or to sponsor training & developmental events for individuals and organisations during this year's literature festival in June. Submissions are invited from people in Hull and the surrounding area. Humber Mouth is looking for original and exciting ideas and welcomes proposals from individuals, or for collaborations, performances or funding for visits from established writers or artists to work with local organisations and groups. Your application must be typed, arrive no later than Monday 28th February, and should be sent to Humber Mouth 2004, City Arts Unit, Central Library, Albion Street, Hull HU1 3TF. Award decisions will be made on March 11th. Submissions can be sent electronically to humber.mouth@hullcc.gov.uk
