Eggs-ellent idea

Cracking idea: Cavendish primary pupils |
Hull shoppers are being urged to help cocoa farmers in the Third World this Easter by buying Fairtrade Easter eggs.
"Fairtrade means the farmers get a decent deal – and that enables local communities to do things like build wells and schools," says Peter Church, joint coordinator of Hull's Fairtrade City Project.
"Fairtrade easter eggs are an ideal way to make the world a better place. Ask for them at your local Fairtrade outlet – they all carry the Fairtrade label."
The charity-owned One World Shop, in Waltham Street, next to BHS, is one outlet where a range of Fairtrade Easter eggs, including mini eggs, are available.
(For more information about Fairtrade in Hull see pages 20 and 21).
Meanwhile, Easter eggs of a different kind will be hidden in East Park where they will form a family Easter egg hunt.
The twenty large and brightlycoloured wooden eggs have been decorated by pupils from Cavendish Primary School, in east Hull.
People can find them by solving clues from task sheets available from the park's Pavilion Café, open between 10am and 4pm each day.
The hunt runs between Good Friday and Easter Monday.
