Trade stand: Phil Batty and his Force 7 colleagues promote their business at the Savoy in London before travelling to Germany to represent the UK in the European youth enterprise finals in Berlin

A Hull youth enterprise company has triumphed over 3,000 competitors to win a national award.
Force 7, a marketing and communications group, was named the best company at the HSBC Young Enterprise Innovation Awards at the Savoy Hotel in London.
And Phil Batty from Force 7 received the Founders Award for Leadership recognising him as the best managing director out of all youth enterprises in the country.
Recent successful projects carried out by the group of twelve sixth-formers from Hymers College was a T-shirt design to be worn by young people on the March of the Abolitionists walk from Hull to London as part of Hull's Wilberforce 2007 commemorations.
The T-shirts were seen on BBC and ITV news bulletins and promoted the event and its anti-slavery message.
"Force 7 was absolutely delighted to win the awards," said Charles Cracknell, Hull City Council's employment and youth enterprise manager.
"I think they are a great credit to Hull and demonstrate how the city is a centre of enterprise and innovation."
Meanwhile, two new websites have been launched to support young people who are starting out in business.
