A school rugby team is appealing for sponsors to help cover the costs of playing at Wembley Stadium before this year's Carnegie Challenge Cup Final.
The Year 7 team at Pickering High School will play in the 'curtain raiser' game on the famous pitch before one of the biggest matches in rugby league kicks off on August 30.
The team, which has Hull City Council as track suit and shirt sponsors, needs to raise an additional £10,000 to cover the costs of transport, two nights' accommodation, food, training kit, uniforms and other expenses.
Meanwhile, at the time of going to press, Hull FC were preparing to play their Challenge Cup semi final tie against Wakefield Wildcats on July 26.
To sponsor the team call 0790 846 2046 or email arust@pickeringhigh.hull.sch.uk
