Put your shirt on it

#

The proud winner of the signed Hull FC shirt from the competition in June's Hull in print was Ann Wharf (pictured right), of Hotham Road North.
The shirt, signed by 13 squad members, was given away to promote the first-ever Hull and East Yorkshire Sporting Heroes and Champions Awards.
The awards will take place in a glitzy ceremony at Hull City Hall at the end of the year and aim to recognise the commitment to sport shown by local people.
That includes everyone, professional and amateur in all sports, from players and coaches to those people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the wheels turning.
Mrs Wharf, a lifelong Hull FC fan, was the first out of the hat of more than 700 readers who entered the Hull in print competition.
She remembers going to Hull FC matches as a child with her parents Betty and Geoff Gascoigne (also pictured).
If you know someone who you would like to nominate for the awards, visit www.heysportsawards.co.uk or call 648268.
The awards are being organised by Hull Trains and KCFM.
