Date set for consideration of Energy from Waste planning application

A Hull City Council Planning Committee meeting to consider the applications for the construction of an Energy from Waste (EfW) facility and other buildings and works at Saltend, within the city boundary, is being held on Monday, January 8, 2007 at Hull City Hall.

The committee welcomes public involvement in planning applications and there will be an opportunity for those who wish to put their views to the committee, in support or opposition of the applications, to pre-register to speak on the day. Those interested in pre-registering can do so by notifying Development Control on (01482) 612345 by Thursday, January 4, 2007.
There will also be a further opportunity for people to register to speak, on the day at the meeting venue.
Registered speakers will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
It is suggested that anyone wishing to speak should, where possible, liaise with other like-minded speakers to present their views in a co-ordinated manner. This would help to avoid repetition and allow all views to be heard.
The meeting will be conducted in accordance with the council's constitution and will be webcast via the council's website, for those unable to attend.
Full details of the meeting are available to view on the Hull City Council website at www.hullcc.gov.uk * and the Target 45+ website at www.target45plus.co.uk *

If you would like further information, please contact Development Control on (01482) 612345.
