Hull offers a massive range of shops, stores and markets to cater for all your Christmas shopping needs. Here is your guide to the city's festive shopping season ...

  1. Aim for the Arcades – Hepworths and Paragon
  2. Beverley Road
  3. Child safety scheme in Prospect Centre (which helps to locate missing children)
  4. Don't need to go... to Leeds, York or Meadowhall
  5. Eat out when you shop – there are more than 2,000 places to eat in Hull
  6. Farmers' markets twice a month in Trinity Square (second and last Fridays of the month), and on December 23 between 10pm and 4pm
  7. Great shops on Newland Avenue
  8. Hessle Road and Holderness Road
  9. Ings Centre market on Savoy Road every Friday
  10. Just pop down Anlaby Road
  11. Kingswood and Kingston Retail Park
  12. Late night shopping in the city centre
  13. Must also get to Princes Avenue
