The Two Humber Quays building on Hull Marina

#

High life: the penthouse apartment in the Freedom Quays luxury residential development on Hull Marina, has a price tag of around £500,000

More than 250 office jobs are expected to be created when office space in the brand new £5.5 million Two Humber Quays building on Hull Marina is fully let.
The building, which has a total of 35,000 sq feet of state-of-the-art office space and 11 top quality office suites currently for rent, was opened by Lord Mayor of Hull Cllr Brenda Petch at the end of last year.
"Developments such as this give Hull additional weight in competing for investment," said John Holmes, chief executive of Hull Citybuild, the urban regeneration company which is helping regenerate the waterfront.
He added: "It provides the city with the necessary standard of office space to allow its existing businesses to grow and to compete effectively with other cities to attract business relocation."
Other regeneration projects on the waterfront include the Freedom Quay luxury residential development, where more than three-quarters of the 51 apartments were sold within two hours of going on the market - despite the building not being due for completion until October this year.
Its penthouse apartment (pictured above) has a price tag around £500,000.
Another project helping the area's regeneration is the One Humber Quays building, opened in 2006, which now houses The Royal Bank of Scotland's Corporate Banking Division.
It's also home to the World Trade Centre Hull and Humber, where a team of business experts are developing international trade links both in and out of the Humber region.
And planning permission was granted recently for the nearby Humber Quays Phase Two development which will include a 200-bed four-star hotel, 32 residential apartments, a restaurant and more high quality office space.
