Tell us your vision of the future

Residents of Orchard Park are set to play a key role in securing £160 million to transform the area.
The money, awarded through the government's Private Finance Initiative (PFI), will pay for new homes, roads and green spaces.
And residents' input is now vital to help planners draw up detailed proposals to shape the future of the area The detailed proposals must be submitted to the government this autumn, otherwise the funding could be lost.
"The development of the funding bid will be hugely reliant on local community and stakeholder involvement," says Pauline Davis, strategic director for housing investment and renewal at Hull City Council.
"Without strong backing from the Orchard Park community it's unlikely to be successful, so we need to work closely with local people to ensure our vision for the future of the area is aligned with theirs.
"By working together we can bring about a bright and positive future for Orchard Park and its residents."
Meanwhile, the Orchard Park PFI Advisory Board has been set up to bring together resident representatives, local councillors and other key stakeholders to advise on regeneration issues.
And this month a community newsletter will be delivered to every home on the estate.
It will contain more details about the funding and the consultation.
