Lines will be open Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm. Callers to this number will speak to an advisor who, via a series of questions, will assess your eligibility for financial help. If you are eligible for help, an appointment at Britannia House, Ferensway, will be made for you.
If you call on Saturday or Sunday, you will receive an answer phone message re-directing you to Britannia House. On a Saturday and Sunday, Britannia House will be open from 10am until 3pm purely to deal with enquiries about financial help due to flooding.
If your home has been flooded, Jobcentre Plus can provide (subject to eligibility criteria) financial help through crisis loans and community care grants.
