Hull cinema-goers will have an exclusive viewing of the blockbuster Hollywood feature film Amazing Grace, before it is released across the world.
The film, directed by Michael Apted, tells the story of Hull-born MP William Wilberforce as he navigates his way through 18th-century backroom politics in his battle to end the British slave trade.
Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd (who also starred in Titanic, Black Hawk Down and The Fantastic Four) plays Wilberforce in the film.
And veteran star-of-the-screen Albert Finney, a five-time Academy Award nominee, plays John Newton, the former slave-ship captain who wrote the hymn Amazing Grace and who inspired Wilberforce.
Senegalese singer Youssou N'Dour makes his film debut as freed slave Olaudah Equiano.
Hull in print has ten pairs of free tickets to give away for the advanced screening, which takes place on Feb 23 at Hull Screen cinema, George Street.
