Don't 'waist' your life
 |
Before / After |
A Hull man who lost 10 stone in 20 weeks to win the title of Sky TV's The Biggest Loser UK, now wants to help others to get in shape.
And just after Christmas is the perfect time, says Aaron Howlett (31), of Sutton Park, who lost the weight with the help of Hull City Council fitness instructors at Ennerdale Leisure Centre.
"Losing weight is not rocket science. It's about making small lifestyle changes, taking more care over what you eat and how much exercise you take.
"Small and regular changes make a massive difference to many people who feel uncomfortable in their own skin, just as I once did.
Aaron is now hoping to launch a campaign called "Get Britain Fit," in which he wants to secure backing from a satellite television channel to launch a TV programme aimed at helping children and adults lose weight. He also hopes his idea will attract celebrity endorsement.
Aaron, who once weighed 25 stone, also plans to publish a book on healthy living, called 'Don't Waist Your Life.'

Aaron's tips
- Eat small meals regularly.
- Don't eat late at night. This leaves less time to burn off calories.
- Eat healthy and wholesome foods, and avoid fatty and sugary snacks.
- Don't do it alone - eating well and being more active is much easier if you have a friend, partner or family member to do it with you.
- Aaron's motto is 'Get off your bum and have some fun' - take up a sport or activity you enjoy!
