A decision is expected to be made this month on which of four shortlisted developers will be chosen to transform Hull's historic Fruit Market area.
Each developer has submitted detailed proposals and designs (pictured) of how they would develop the Humber Street area with commercial, leisure and residential space.
And a panel of regeneration experts from Hull City Council, Hull Citybuild, Yorkshire Forward and English Partnerships is currently deciding on which developer would be best suited.
Members of the public had the chance to view the proposals and speak to the teams behind them at an exhibition last year.
And those views are being taken into consideration by the panel when they make their decision, which will be announced shortly.
"We firmly believe that the Fruit Market represents one of the most exciting development opportunities in the UK," said John Holmes, chief executive of Citybuild.
"The interest we have received from developers bears this out. The proposals submitted are of an immensely high standard using the talents of some of the leading regeneration and design practitioners operating in the UK today."
