Winner
Melissa Shode (Age 9)

Runner-up
Emily Stuart (Age 11)

In January we asked you to send in your pictures of funny faces.
Thank you to everyone who took part. Here's the winner and runnerup.

Art competition

On March 18 it's Mothering Sunday, so we want you to send in a drawing or painting of your mum, grandma, carer or guardian.
Just create your design on A4 paper and send it, together with your name, address and age, to 'Art Competition', Hull Children's Fund, Municipal Buildings, Trippett Street, Hull, HU2 8AA.
Please send in your entries by March 31, 2007. The winning entry will receive a prize.

World Book Day

Before they go, the News Crew would like to remind everyone that on March 1 it was the 10th birthday of World Book Day. Some of the News Crew's favourite books are 'Bad Girls' and 'The Dare Game' by Jacqueline Wilson, 'Horrid Henry' by Francesca Simon, 'Danny the Champion of the World' by Roald Dahl and, of course, the Harry Potter books by J K Rowling.

Another book you might like is 'Amazing Grace', by Mary Hoffman. It's a picture book which has been launched to link in with the Wilberforce commemorations.

Why not give these books a try? And then write in and tell us what you thought about them or about any other good books you've read. (Just write to the competition address.)
