Woolly the bear helped Callum Peck stay safe on Hull's roads

Thousands of Hull schoolchildren are less likely to suffer injury on the roads – thanks to an in-car safety training scheme.
Dorchester Primary School pupil Callum Peck (4) was the 6,000th child to be trained by the Teddy Takes a Tumble project, which is run by Hull City Council.
The project uses a story and video of Woolly the teddy having a tumble in a car accident while not being safely strapped into his seat.
The children are also shown how to use seatbelts and booster seats safely during a practical session using a vehicle supplied by Hull John Roe Toyota.
The sessions aim to raise their awareness of road dangers, and encourage them to belt up on every trip.
The sessions are in place because surveys undertaken by Hull road safety staff show that almost 40 per cent of children are not strapped in when travelling in the back seats of cars during the busy school.
