An artist's impression of Igloo's plans for the Fruit Market area

Work to transform Hull's historic fruit market area into a vibrant mix of work, leisure and residential space could begin by the end of this year.
Developer Igloo has been chosen, from a shortlist of four developers, to carry out the work in partnership with Hull Citybuild, the urban regeneration company.
Igloo's vision is to create a "destination location" which is European in outlook, culturally exciting, creative and enterprising, and with something always going on. For more information visit www.hullcitybuild.co.uk

Our February issue inspired this group of Hull in print readers to send in a photo.
The overseas students are studying English at Wyke College, west Hull, in preparation for their summer exams.
The students are from a mix of countries including China, Spain, Iran, Libya, Brazil, Morocco and Turkey and are currently living in Hull and learning about British life.
As part of a recent English class to improve their language skills and vocabulary they studied last month's magazine which featured Chinese New Year and a wordsearch on the same theme.
If you are an overseas student and would like to join the college in September, call Claire Michallat on 346347.
