This annual competition is designed to encourage gardeners of all ages and abilities to show off their gardens.
It is open to all residents, schools, community groups, allotment holders, public houses and commercial premises within the city boundary.
There are seven categories
Best display by a public house
Best display by a commercial organisation
Best garden
Best planted container or hanging basket
Best allotment garden
Best display by a community group
Best display by a school
Closing date for all entries is June 30 2008.
Judging will take place between July 1 and July 11.
Entries which are successful locally will be put forward to be judged in the city-wide Hull in Bloom Final between July 14 and July 25, 2008.
The Hull in Bloom Awards Ceremony will be held in September 2008.
