Hop on and have your say

*

If you see this silver bus in your neighbourhood, it's your chance to step on board and meet your local councillor.
You could also meet a local police officer, fire officer, community warden, or a member of the antisocial behaviour team.
These are just some of the agencies travelling on the bus set up by Hull City Council to bring services direct to residents, and to encourage people to have their say.
The specially-converted vehicle is believed to be the first of its kind among councils in the country.
"One of its advantages is that you can drive to where the people are," says Adam Fowler, of the City of Hull and Humber Environment Forum (CHEF), one of the partners in the project.
"But if you have all the agencies in a building, say in a community centre or a church hall, and nobody turns up, then you're stuck."
There's no appointment necessary to visit the bus, which is provided free by East Yorkshire Motor Services.

To find out when the bus is in your area call your neighbourhood team on 300300.
