Keep parade afloat

*

Community groups and businesses are being urged to take part in this year's Lord Mayor's Parade and Gala on Saturday May 16.
The parade sets off from Walton Street fairground, tracing a route along Anlaby Road, Carr Lane, Alfred Gelder Street and Holderness Road before arriving in East Park, where the gala takes place.
It's one of the biggest events in the city's calendar and attracts more than 15,000 people, however, in recent years the number of people taking part has declined.
Organisations interested in setting up a float or taking part should contact Karen Park on 300300 for an information pack.
