Promoting enterprise

Hull is due to play host to a series of events to mark Enterprise Week 2007, which runs from November 12-18.
The week will kick off at the Guildhall with the visit of Stephen Timms MP, the Minister for Competitiveness, who will advise young people aged 16-19 about setting up in business.
Primary school children from schools across Hull and the East Riding will have the chance to learn the basics of business and enterprise at an event at the KC Stadium on November 14.
The speakers there will be John Healey MP of the Department for Communities and Local Government and Abhimanu Kudasamy, the High Commissioner of Mauritius.
The week will end with an Enterprise Masterclass at the University of Hull for business people across the city.
Michelle Dewberry, the winner of the Apprentice 2006, will be one of the speakers.
