Serving their country – members of the Yorkshire Regiment are received by the Lord Mayor of Hull, Cllr Brenda Petch

These are just some of the soldiers who will pause for a two-minute's silence to mark Remembrance Day.
The soldiers, all from the Hull area, are in the Yorkshire Regiment, and are all honourary freemen of the city.
They have recently completed tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.
And on a recent visit to Hull, they exercised their right to march through the city centre with colours flying and bayonets fixed.
"They have done a tremendous and very brave job in some of the world's worst trouble-spots," said Lord Mayor of Hull Cllr Brenda Petch. "They should be applauded for their efforts."
Meanwhile, Remembrance Day, held every year on November 11, provides an opportunity for people across the world to pay their respects to those who lost their lives in two world wars and other conflicts.
The Lord Mayor will attend the annual Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in Paragon Square and lay a wreath on behalf of Hull City Council and the people of Hull.
Following the service, Cllr Petch, accompanied by other dignitaries, will take the salute at the march past which will be led by the Humberside Police Band followed by members of various veterans' associations.
