Light up a life

#

last year's tree

An appeal is under way to enable Hull residents to remember loved ones at Christmas and raise money for the city's Dove House Hospice.
The hospice's Light up a Life campaign gives people the opportunity to sponsor a light on an 18ft tree in the Prospect Centre.
Sponsors can also have their loved ones' names written into a book of lights which will be displayed alongside the tree from December 15 to January 4.
To sponsor a light, call into a Dove House Hospice charity shop or a local branch of Yorkshire Bank for a sponsorship form, or email fundraising@dovehouse.org.uk to receive one electronically.
The hospice, in east Hull, provides specialist palliative care to adults with terminal illnesses who are in the final stages of life.
