New horizons

He's set sail on the adventure of a lifetime to help deliver an important message.
Matthew Brown, from Bransholme, is the first member of the One Hull Tag Team to compete in the Clipper 07-08 Round the World Yacht Race.
The 22-year-old is crossing the Atlantic on board the Yorkshire Forward Hull and Humber Clipper - which set off from Liverpool last month - and is now heading to Brazil in the first stage of the race.
There is a 10-strong tag team who will each complete a leg of the 35,000 race each carrying the Wilberforce 2007 anti-slavery petition to be signed by civic dignitaries in 14 ports across five continents.
"It's a real honour to be taking part and a unique chance to show that slavery still exists around the world – and that we can all do something to stop it," Matthew said.
Matthew earned his place on board by being selected through a One Hull-funded employment and skills project, which is supported by Hull City Council.
The project aims to giving young people the training and confidence they need to achieve their career goals.
One Hull is the city's Local Strategic Partnership which brings together the public, private, voluntary and community sectors in the city to work together to improve the quality of life for local people.
