Spooky Signing

We are all aged ten and attend Tilbury Primary School in west Hull and we think it is the best.
On the back row Jack, Reece and Jessica are making the sign for hello.
On the front row Jason, Ryan and Ricki are signing the first letters of their school name - T.P.S.
At our school all children learn how to use British Sign Language which is the language of many deaf people.
The British Deaf Association (BDA) encourages everyone to have fun by learning to sign during Learn to Sign Week which runs from October 6th – 12th.
This is the alphabet in sign language for you to learn too.
Can you spell out your name?

Don't forget

Hull Fair on October 10th - 18th (not Sunday 12th)
The fair is held on Walton Street and has hundreds of rides.
You could win a prize on a side stall or have something tasty to eat such as hot dogs, candy floss or pomegranates.
Halloween is on October 31st, Halloween is a fun time for dressing up, making pumpkin lanterns, apple bobbing and trick or treat.

Winner

In August we asked you to draw a picture of a scarecrow.
We received some fantastic entries and the three above were judged the best.
They will receive their prizes shortly.
Many thanks to all who entered.
